
Future Cities Forum:
Delivered as part of the Rutherford Innovation Showcase Week, The Future Cities Forum to be held on the 28th of September 2011 will be a premier forum for the showcase of New Zealand innovation by local government in the use of technology to empower citizens in city environments. The Future Cities Forum will examine the innovative ways of connecting citizens though the use of technology and provide a platform for new ideas and discussion on empowering local communities in the digital world.
CALL FOR CONFERENCE AND WHITE PAPERS
The organizing committee invites you to share your experience and knowledge and submit research papers that discuss new ideas on empowering local communities in the digital world and address innovative ways for local governments to use technology to connect and empower citizens in city environments.
Conference and white papers of no more than 50 pages should be submitted to submissions@iijseie.org by 9 September 2011.
Submitted papers should conform to the editorial guidelines of the IJSEIE.
Authors of accepted research papers are expected to attend the forum and will be given 15 minutes to present their papers with 5 minutes for questions.
